Anna Svanfeldt Hillervik, Graphic designer & Ceramic artist

 

I have a MFA from Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design, and started my professional career as a graphic designer and illustrator making ads, art and patterns for Ikea of Sweden. After 24 years in front of a computor in the two dimensional world I started working with clay and love the three-dimensionally freedom clay offers.

 

I am a member at G-studion, making ceramic art and crafts in a studio in the old factory premises that belonged to the Gustavsberg porcelain factory. I enjoy the natural, hands on material clay truly is, the quick result with the material and the satisfaction of opening a kiln. I work sculpturally in stoneware clay with various casting techniques, cast in plaster, concrete and silicone, make art out of everyday objects that I think have great significance.​

Anna From Sweden is a design company with activities focused on graphic design, pattern design, sculpture, ceramic and artistic creation. ​The design language is clear, graphic and colorful. In addition to touching in some way, I want my art to be experienced as joyful and fun.
